Dr Calzada contributed in two sessions of the American Association of Geographers 2018 that took place in New Orleans (USA).

• The first session as Discussant on ‘City-Regional Geopolitics’
• and the second session as Panelist on ‘Debates and Future Directions’

The paper presented has been based on the published journal article via Palgrave Communications and the forthcoming book chapter via Edward Elgar.

Both sessions are part of the section Seeing Like a Region.
